In 2009, I hired a nanny from Jingzhou Mulanhua Housekeeping Company. The transportation fee, introduction fee, service fee and deposit add up to 1,500 yuan. The salary was originally agreed to be 1,200 yuan a month, which was considered a decent salary at the time. At first, the nanny was in her 30s, from Hunan, very refreshing, and she satisfied us when she came to our house to work. It would have been quite enjoyable. But after working as a nanny for less than a week, she said she had to go back to her hometown because of family matters. The housekeeping company said they would send another one. In the end, a man in his 50s was sent. He talked too much and couldn't hear clearly, so that was fine. If I really can’t do something, I might as well do it myself. I have been doing this for more than a month, and I really can't ask the housekeeping company to change the nanny. They just procrastinate, and the enthusiasm that they had when they first went to their company is completely gone. It took more than half a month and two or three visits to their company before they were willing to send a nanny. And this one is worse than the previous one! We consider ourselves not very picky people, and we definitely don’t look down on nannies. We are very good to them. But none of the nannies lasted long, so I had to change a few. I understand, they are lying.

I heard from my colleagues that most housekeeping companies are like this, so I just let it go. After all, you can't sue them.

I am just saying this now as a reminder to everyone, and I hope that the domestic service industry in Jingzhou can be more standardized and more honest in the future.
