Tian Kejing’s masterpiece

"Can't Eat and Walk Around", "Family Transfer", "Plastic Surgery", "Club Night Talk", "Chess Fans", "My Experience", "Winning the Prize", "Magpie Bridge Hotline" " Hemp Factory Director".

During the Spring Festival in 2005, CCTV's "Witness" column launched the "Looking for Fun" album, selecting 8 representative cities across the country and 8 comedians who best represent the folk customs of the city. The representative of Wuhan is Tian Kejing.

At the 2006 Spring Festival Gala, he performed the sketch "Recruitment". Tian Kejing is synonymous with "one-man show" in the minds of Wuhan people. Rewinding and replaying his works of more than 20 years, we smelled the tangy aroma of hot dry noodles, heard the crisp crashing sound of mahjong, and saw lifelike characters such as the old man and the director of the mahjong factory.

Tian Kejing sketched a lively and lively urban Wuhan for us.

Before 2001, Tian Kejing had always been an "amateur actor." At the age of 14, he was a well-known "Story King" in Wuhan. Only because of his father's rightist status, he could not join professional literary and art groups. He made rice cakes, worked as a mechanic, stood at the counter, and dragged a cart. Finally, he found a formal job in the warehouse of a local product company. During this period, he insisted on performing in the Wuhan Municipal Amateur Folk Art Troupe, receiving a subsidy of 20 cents per performance.

Start: From one-man show to one-man show

In 1980, Tian Kejing went to Beijing to participate in a performance and saw Shaanxi Wang Muchu's one-man show "Qin Opera, Song, Dance and Divorce": "A person It’s just a play, it’s so exciting!”

Chen Shixin, then the director of Wuhan Arts Center, transplanted and adapted Wang Muchu’s one-legged opera into "Chu Opera, Song, Dance and Divorce", and the performers were selected Katsuki Sadada. From then on, Tian Kejing became more and more noisy on the stage and became a "corner" among amateur actors.

In 1994, Tian Kejing collaborated with cross talk master Xia Yutian for the first time in "Can't Eat and Walk Around", which won the first prize in the National Folk Art Sketch Grand Prix that year. Huangpi dialect, which Tian Kejin tried for the first time, became a popular slang. When he went to Huangpi to perform, everyone shouted affectionately: "Tian Kejing, you are back!"

"Actually, I grew up in Liuduqiao, not Huangpi!" Tian Kejing's defense was full of grievances. pride.

In 1997, playing mahjong became popular among Wuhan people, and they launched "Mah Manager"; in 1998, when marriage solicitation became popular in Wuhan, they launched "Magpie Bridge Hotline"; in 2000, when the whole city was involved in lottery fever, they launched "Winning the Prize"...

These one-man shows are all about the "bad habits" of Wuhan people, but Wuhan people like to listen to them, as if someone is scratching their sore spots, and it feels very comfortable. In 2001, Tian Kejin took off his "amateur" hat and became a national first-class actor in the Wuhan rap group. Now he is also the deputy leader. But he said, I still like others to call me "Cha Bazi". "Cha Bazi" in Wuhan dialect means that this person has to say "Cha" a few words to anyone or anything he meets. Tian Kejing said that it was not a derogatory term, but represented the warm, forthright and straightforward personality of Wuhan people.
