Hainan Provincial Health School is located in Xiuying District, Haikou City, Hainan Province , adjacent to the key teaching base Hainan Provincial People's Hospital, has the educational advantage of "integrating both moral and technical skills, and integrating work and study". The predecessor of the school, Guangdong Hainan Health School, was founded in 1977. It was renamed Hainan Health School after Hainan was established as a province in 1988. In 2005, it was rated as the only public national key health vocational school in Hainan Province by the Ministry of Education.
