Elements of success: goals, actions, persistence ~ Read "Success: Why Not You"

"Success: Why Not You" is one of a series of books on life management written by American entrepreneur (real estate dealer) and writer Jim Randall. Another reason why I read his books recently is that I like the simple comic illustrations in his books.

The definition of "success" is different in everyone's mind. Some people focus on material, while others focus on spirit. But in any case, "success" belongs to the type of people who have a clear goal or direction, take action, and never give up to pursue it. That is passion, action and persistence.

Sometimes I think: the most important thing is to set the goal. The goal must be what interests you the most, so that you can be passionate and selfless, and achieve the greatest achievements.

In fact, due to our traditional education and the influence of utilitarian culture, our individual huge potential is often limited. In the end, we always underestimate our potential and become "victims" of secular culture.

For many, a childhood hobby can be a sign. For example, children have been influenced by their family's cultural environment since childhood, and their parents' careers often affect their children, such as performing artists Chen Qiang and Chen Peisi and his son, writers Alexandre Dumas and Xiao Dumas and his son, chemist Marie Curie and her daughter Irena,... Of course, this is just an example, and human abilities have little to do with genes. I liked reading books since I was a child. After all the ups and downs in life, I found that I still like reading books when I grow up.

Therefore, it is easiest for them to find their fun. When you get older, when you find your own interests, you have to keep trying.

Once you find your interest, take action immediately. When your career has just started, don't worry about gains and losses of material benefits, and devote yourself to it wholeheartedly. Human society has developed to this day, and as long as we work hard, life will basically be worry-free.

The road (process) of pursuing goals is actually difficult, and we must fully understand it. In fact, if you lift the veil of successful people, you will find that they all went through a long process and gradually achieved great success through accumulation over time.
