Why was Yiwu called Wushang before?

Since its establishment in Qin Dynasty more than 2,200 years ago, Yiwu City has successively included five counties: Wushang, Wuxiao, Chouzhou, Huachuan and Yiwu ( State, city) name. 1. Wushang originates from Yanwu. His ancestor, Yanqin, moved to Qufu, Yanzhou, and had a literary name. He was recommended by the Zhou Shenliang Dynasty as a doctor in Heyang, where he avoided chaos and returned to seclusion. His father, Yan Feng, fled the chaos and traveled south, settling in the southern boundary of Kuaiji County, Zhejiang Province. He died of an illness and his son was buried in this county. The legend about Yanwuhe County's name Wushang is:

Wushang was renamed Yiwu in the seven years from the establishment of the county in Qin Dynasty to Wude in Tang Dynasty. It lasted for more than 840 years.

2. Wuxiao The county was named Wuxiao twice. The first time was in the Xinmang period, which lasted for more than 10 years; the second time was in the Wude period of the Tang Dynasty, which lasted only 2 years. Its meaning is the same as that of Wushang. "[Jiaqing] Yiwu County Chronicles" Tong Kai Preface: "The city is named after Wu, and its aspiration is to be filial."

3. Chouzhou is named after Chouyan ("[Wanli] Yiwu County Chronicles"). In the area to the north of Tangli Township and Humen Township today, there are many mountains. There is a huge rock on the top of the main peak, named Chongyan, that is, Desheng Rock. The former site of the state office was the former Yiwu Middle School.

4. Huachuan Huachuan, also known as Xiuchuan Lake, is Xiu Lake. The county is named after the lake. "Song Lian Ji·Huachuan Shushe Ji" says: "There is a Daze Rihua River in Wushang. During the Wude period of the Tang Dynasty, Huachuan County was tried to be established. Today's so-called Xiuhu Lake refers to its place." At that time, the area around Xiuhu Lake was full of mountains, rivers, flowers and trees , hidden like embroidery, hence the name.

5. Yiwu The name of the county is Wu, which dates back to the seventh year of Wude in the Tang Dynasty and has been through the five dynasties of Wuyue, Song, Yuan, Ming, Qing and the Republic of China for 1362 years. The county name Wu and the county name Wushang have the same meaning. "The Classic of Filial Piety: Three Talents": "A husband's filial piety is the scripture of heaven and the meaning of earth.
