The Historical Evolution of Xinzhan Town

Xinzhan Town is located in the northwest of Zhaoyuan County, with geographical coordinates of 45 degrees 42 minutes north latitude and 0/24 degrees 23 minutes east longitude, 74 kilometers away from the county seat. The town is bordered by Haode Township and Maoxing Town in the east, Da 'an City in Jilin Province across the river in the south, Minyi Township in the southwest, Nenjiang River in the west, State-owned Zhaoyuan Farm in the north, Yishun Township and Gulong Town in the north, and Daqing and Dorbert Mongolian Autonomous County in the south. For thousands of years, the people of Xinzhan have worked hard and thrived in this vast black land. By the end of the 20th century, a major town in northwest China had been built, second only to Zhaoyuan County, and it was known as "the second Zhaoyuan".

Xinzhan Town is located in the center of Zhaoyuan-Changchun-Daqing Golden Triangle, which has certain geographical advantages. The railway and Zhao Lin highway pass through the mirror, and the waterway is connected with Da 'an Port and Zhaoyuan Wharf. The land-water railway has smooth traffic and convenient information. According to preliminary statistics, there are 36 ancient sites and cultural relics in the town. Among the ancient sites, there are Banan No.1 site and Babest, which belong to the high-spirited xi culture type. Bai Jinbao's cultural types are Sihe, Liaoyuan, Nanlou, Backing Mountain, Xishantou, Baojiafen and Ancient City. Ancient buildings used to include Songling Temple, Guandi Temple and Zhenwu Temple.
