Why do many companies require people under the age of 35 when recruiting?

This is an obstacle.

I am 36 years old. I have been working in the system before. I left the system this year 1 month and started to work as a full-time code farmer.

When I was in the system, I always thought that there was fair competition outside the system. As long as you have the ability, you can go to the corresponding post. If you can earn 100, go to 100; If you can earn 10000, go to the post of 10000.

Regrettably, through more than a dozen rounds of interviews, it is found that this is not the case, and age discrimination exists objectively. I want to go to a place where I earn 100 yuan, and the money is not small. Sorry, that's a position for graduates.

I also applied for a job that matched my position, and I didn't even get an interview. Therefore, we should vote for posts with thresholds. It's the kind that doesn't eat youth meals, not the kind that can be mass-produced in training courses.

Finally, I took the academic threshold, because I am a master student, so I voted for the algorithm post. The company started with a master's degree in algorithm, and most of them were doctors, thus filtering out a large number of competitors.

So, what kind of people does the company need? I think the employer wants your ability to match your age and the price is right.

The point is, at the age of 35, try not to submit your resume. If you submit your resume, the company will not take it seriously.

I think pushing inward is the best way. I have three friends who have the right to speak in three companies. They usually communicate together. They can become more familiar with my level through communication. I also know what they are doing, so I charge them accordingly. A friend said that they were engaged in UE4, so I learned UE4 in my spare time and connected seamlessly at any time. Although there are many UE4 training courses, those who are mass-produced only know the blueprint and don't know C++, so it is a threshold. I can work with them in my spare time, and they also welcome me to join their company at any time. I said, if I can't go on, I'll go to your place and beg for a bowl of rice.

Some people find jobs through headhunters, and I have tried. Unfortunately, it is not as effective as submitting your resume. A dozen headhunters came to me, but none of them succeeded in finding a job through headhunting. First, my level is not good enough to be a spare tire, and second, the level of headhunting is uneven.

Another irregularity is the age of the interviewer. If the interviewer is about my age or older than me, the employment rate will be high. If he is a few years younger than me, there is no chance. Interviewers are human beings, and interviews are about finding colleagues. If he is the same age or older than you, he can feel your situation, empathize with you and be willing to give you a chance. If you are young, the employment rate will be low. When the level is not enough, he will let you wait for the notice. I'll praise you if you get a higher level and let you wait for the notice. I have been in both situations.

There are also company reasons. Pay attention to their profiles. If the company promotes a young team with an average age of more than 20 years old, don't consider it.
