How to be an excellent landscape architect?

Concentration and professional knowledge acquisition during school.

After graduation, I entered a professional counterpart company to practice, study and accumulate experience.

Understand the knowledge of related industries. In all aspects, we have widely understood and accumulated knowledge in architecture, planning, sketch, plane, art sculpture and so on. Understand the basic norms of related industries.

To cultivate and hone their skills in all aspects, a good designer will not ask which is more important, computer or handwork. In fact, the key is to express your thoughts and ideas well.

Develop good habits, pay attention to rigor and relaxation, pay attention to neatness and flexibility, pay attention to thinking and reflection, and so on.

The present situation of the cultivation of landscape professionals;

There are different opinions about the current training mode of landscape professionals in Chinese mainland, and there is still no unified understanding. So everyone came first to the monarch and ministers, and later to the ministers, each occupying the top of the mountain and each occupying the branches. Now the landscape architecture is in a typical moment of warlord scuffle. Whoever is a little stronger will get more shares, who will be the big brother and accept the respect of others.

At present, landscape architecture can be divided into three categories: one is urban planning and design, the other is landscape architecture, and the third is environmental art. Although the names are different, most of them have changed their medicines. Slightly different, in the talent training mode, the major of urban planning and design in architecture colleges is architecture, the major of landscape architecture in agriculture and forestry colleges is plant ecology, and the major of environmental art in art colleges is art design. Comprehensive schools simply have a hodgepodge of everything, but they don't know that students are too tired because of too many courses and can't learn anything deep-seated and core. Perhaps, the education department can't train such an interdisciplinary professional.

In this way, we "pioneers" of landscape design have become "experiments" of various versions of training models, and I really don't know whether we will become "unknown ghosts" in the future (the debate about the name of "landscape architecture specialty" has never stopped). It was soon suggested that both architecture colleges, agriculture and forestry colleges, art colleges and comprehensive colleges in China should unify the professional courses and teaching materials of landscape architecture, which is called standardization. This should be necessary. Obviously, the core courses of landscape architecture specialty: planning and design and biological ecology must be strengthened to ensure sufficient class hours and credits. Other necessary knowledge of landscape architecture should be strengthened through detailed and targeted curriculum arrangement according to the different characteristics of different institutions, so as not to make our future China landscape designers lack arms and legs. For example, it is very important to strengthen the requirements of planning and design skills, the expression of design concepts, the application of garden materials and the fidelity of internship content for the cultivation of landscape professionals in agricultural and forestry colleges.
