(1) office

Draw up the city's education development plan; Responsible for the statistical analysis of the city's education, and put forward the guiding enrollment plan for ordinary high schools and vocational high schools in our city and the enrollment plan for primary and secondary schools directly under the municipal government; Participate in the formulation of policies to raise education funds; Responsible for the management of state-owned assets, budget and final accounts, financial management and internal audit of directly affiliated units; Responsible for helping students get out of trouble; To undertake the overall planning of education funds and the management of the city's education finance, special education funds, education donation funds and the construction of primary and secondary schools.

(4) Basic Education Section (Language Office)

To undertake the macro management of compulsory education, ordinary high school education, preschool education and special education in the city; To guide the reform of education and teaching, the construction of teaching materials and moral education; Guiding teaching research, modern technology education and teaching equipment; Planning and guiding special education work in science popularization, environment, epidemic prevention and mental health; Guide the city's basic education curriculum reform and the reform of the enrollment system of ordinary primary and secondary schools, be responsible for the management of basic education status, and issue graduation certificates of high schools and junior high schools directly under the city; Guide the eradication of illiteracy among young people; Guide and manage the city's language and writing work.

(5) Vocational Education and Adult Education Section

To undertake the overall planning, comprehensive coordination and management of vocational education; Overall management of the city's secondary vocational education, adult education, rural adult culture and technology education and secondary vocational school principals and professional teachers training; Responsible for the management of secondary vocational schools in the city; Review the establishment, cancellation, renaming and specialty setting of secondary vocational schools (classes); Guide the teaching reform of secondary vocational education and the construction of teaching materials, libraries and experimental training equipment; Guide social forces to hold various secondary vocational education schools and vocational certificate examinations; Guide community education in conjunction with relevant departments.

(6) Comprehensive Education Department

To manage and guide the continuing education of primary and secondary school teachers in the city; To guide the construction and development of teachers' colleges and county-level teachers' further education schools; Overall management and guidance of private education in the city, examination and approval of secondary education institutions organized by social forces in the city; Coordinate the education and teaching management of municipal colleges and universities, contact the work of colleges and universities in the city, assist the relevant departments of the municipal party Committee to guide the party building work, the ideological and political work of teachers and students in colleges and universities, and participate in the help of students with financial difficulties in colleges and universities and the stability of colleges and universities.

(7) Sports Health and Art Education Section

To guide school physical education, health and health education, art education and national defense education; Coordinate and organize primary and secondary school students to participate in national, provincial and municipal sports competitions and art education exchange activities.

Education Supervision Office of the Municipal People's Government (deputy division level).
