Zichuan Education Bureau refers to planning the development of mass sports in the whole region, making plans for national fitness activities and guiding the development of mass sports activities.

The main responsibilities of Zichuan District Education and Sports Bureau:

(a) to implement the principles, policies, laws and regulations of the party and the state, provinces, cities and districts on education and sports; Draw up the development plan and annual plan of education and sports in the whole region and organize their implementation.

(2) Organizing the implementation of compulsory education and managing preschool education, basic education (including special education), vocational and technical education and adult education in the whole region; Responsible for the education supervision, inspection and evaluation of the management level and teaching quality of various schools and kindergartens; Supervise and manage the safety and stability of the school.

(three) overall planning, coordination and guidance of comprehensive education reform, education system and school system reform; Guide the reform of the school's internal management system.

(four) to formulate school plans, coordinate and guide the school buildings, audio-visual education and teaching equipment, books and materials, laboratory construction and work-study program construction in the whole region.

(five) responsible for the management, training and education of all kinds of school staff in the region and the ideological and political work of students; Cooperate with relevant departments to do a good job in employment guidance for graduates of normal universities; Responsible for the management of student status in compulsory education.

(six) to organize and guide the work of educational research, teaching research and Zichuan District Education Society and other educational academic groups, and popularize the achievements of educational research.

(seven) in charge of local private education; Responsible for the approval and management of running schools by social forces in the whole region.

(eight) responsible for the statistics, analysis and release of basic information of education and sports, as well as the development and construction of information systems; To guide school physical education, health, art, national defense and other educational work.

(nine) the implementation of national physical exercise standards, with the superior departments to organize national physical fitness monitoring, strengthen the construction of social sports instructors; Guide the construction of public sports facilities and be responsible for the supervision and management of public sports facilities.

(ten) to co-ordinate the development of competitive sports in the whole region and formulate sports competition plans; Guide and coordinate sports training and competitions in the whole region, and guide the construction of sports teams; Organize to participate in and undertake national, provincial and municipal sports competitions.

(eleven) responsible for the management of regional sports market, in conjunction with the relevant departments to do a good job in the management of sports lottery stations (points).
