On February 10, with the approval of the superior radio and television management department, the station’s three radio programs were renamed FM Radio (FM96.2 MHz, the original first program) and Golden Melody Radio (FM102. 7 MHz, the original second program), economic and environmental protection broadcast (AM1098 kHz, the original third program). 3 On March 15, all party members and league members were organized to participate in the "I Contribute to Guangzhou Greening" tree planting activity.

On March 18, "Golden Melody Broadcasting" launched a radio story feature "Guangzhou Story" that tells the folk customs of Guangzhou, with one episode broadcast every day.

On March 19, all cadres and employees were organized in batches to carry out revolutionary traditional education activities. The first batch of personnel went to Yunnan and Guizhou for study and inspection from March 19 to 25.

On March 29, the "Poem for You in Spring" Square Poetry Recitation Concert was held in the square of Guangzhou Art Museum in conjunction with the "Poetry Magazine" of the Chinese Writers Association; and in cooperation with Beijing Radio, Shanghai Radio cooperated to broadcast this poetry recitation concert.

On April 1st, "Golden Melody Broadcasting" held a "Program Creativity Competition" that lasted for more than two months from April 1st to May 31st. Among them, the "Pretty Voice Contest" project won the grand prize.

On April 16, the party committee held a study class for party branch secretaries. The main content was to study the "three" important ideas, study and analyze the ideological status of party members and organize work.

On April 18, with the approval of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, the Guangdong Provincial Radio, Film and Television Bureau, and the Guangzhou Press, Publication, Radio and Television Bureau, it was agreed that the radio station would be installed at the Guangzhou Huaguoshan Radio and Television Transmission Tower and Huangpu Power Plant. The office building and Panyu Building used 106.1MHz for FM synchronous broadcasting experiments, and the broadcast program was the Economic and Environmental Protection Broadcasting (Third Set) of Guangzhou Radio.

On April 19, a tug-of-war competition was jointly held with the Guangzhou Municipal Press, Publication, Radio and Television Bureau (referred to as the Guangzhou Xinguang Bureau). A total of 300 employees from the two units participated in the competition; Guangzhou Xinguang Bureau The first team of the Bureau won the championship, and the first team of the radio station "Golden Melody Broadcasting" won the runner-up.

On April 30, the Party Committee decided to separate the Office of the Discipline Inspection Commission and the Supervision Office from the office and work together to further strengthen discipline inspection and supervision work.
