Main Responsibilities:

(5) Organize the implementation of national drug management laws and regulations; participate in the drafting of local drug management regulations and provincial government draft regulations; organize the implementation of quality standards for traditional Chinese medicines and ethnic medicines, and implement the traditional Chinese medicine variety protection system in accordance with the law.

(6) Organize the implementation of national laws and regulations on medical device management; be responsible for the preliminary review, supervision and management of medical device products; implement relevant national standards, and organize the implementation of national medical device industry product standards and production quality management specifications ; Issuance of medical device production and operating enterprise licenses in accordance with the law.

(7) Responsible for the preliminary review of new drug development, generic drugs, and protected varieties of traditional Chinese medicine, supervise the implementation of national drug standards; implement the classification management system for prescription drugs and non-prescription drugs, implement the adverse drug reaction monitoring system, and be responsible for drug re-examination. Preliminary review work for evaluating and eliminating drugs; issuing preparation licenses for drug production enterprises, operating enterprises and medical institutions in accordance with the law.

(8) Supervise the implementation of national quality management standards for drug research, production, and distribution.

(9) Supervise the quality of drugs and medical devices in production and operating enterprises and medical institutions, and regularly publish provincial drug and medical device quality bulletins; investigate and deal with illegal activities such as the production and sale of counterfeit and substandard drugs and medical devices in accordance with the law.

(10) Supervise and manage radioactive drugs, narcotic drugs, toxic drugs and psychotropic drugs in accordance with the law.

(11) Guide the supervision, management and inspection of food and drug-related aspects in the province.

(12) Responsible for the qualification training, registration and continuing education of licensed pharmacists; responsible for the qualification management of licensed pharmacist teaching institutions.

(13) Carry out exchanges and cooperation related to food and drug supervision and management.

(14) Undertake other matters assigned by the provincial government.
