Fan County is a city in Henan Province.

Fan County is located in the lower reaches of the Yellow River, in the northeast of Henan Province, at the junction of Henan and Shandong provinces. It is adjacent to Taiqian County in the east, Puyang County in the west, Juancheng County and Yuncheng County in Shandong Province across the Yellow River in the south, and Jindi and Shenxian County in Shandong Province in the north. It is a county under the jurisdiction of Puyang City, Henan Province, with a total area of 6 17 square kilometers. Fan County has successively won honors such as national health county, provincial civilized county and demonstration county of bus quality improvement project in Wancuntong.

In the early years of the Western Han Dynasty, a county was set up, which was named after Fan Shui passing through the city. Up to now, it has a history of more than 2,200 years and is the birthplace of Fan, Gu, Qin and Yao.
