Shishi city Pengshan Industry and Trade School is located in the south section of Nanyang Road, opposite to Clothing City. In 2000, it was formed by the merger of Pengshan Normal School and Shishi Overseas Chinese Vocational Secondary School. Is a metre unit, under the management of Quanzhou and shishi city, and the head of shishi city Municipal People's Government.

In 2002, it was renamed "shishi city Pengshan Industry and Trade School". In 2004, it was re-evaluated as "provincial key secondary vocational school" by the provincial education department. In February 2009, shishi city Pengshan Industry and Trade School passed the evaluation of national key secondary vocational schools and was recognized as "national key secondary vocational school" by the Ministry of Education.

Shishi city Pengshan Industry and Trade School is the only public secondary vocational school in shishi city. Since the autumn of 2008, the private Quanzhou Yongxin Science and Technology Secondary Vocational School has been merged into Pengshan Industry and Trade School.
