I am about to graduate with a master's degree and have signed a contract to work in Shenzhen. Can I apply for CPA in Shenzhen?

(1) China citizens who meet the following conditions at the same time may apply for taking the professional stage examination of the national unified examination for certified public accountants:

1. has full capacity for civil conduct;

2. Have a college degree or above, or have an intermediate or above technical title in accounting or related major.

(2) Due to the limited number of seats in the Shenzhen test area, candidates applying for the Shenzhen test area must meet one of the following three conditions in addition to item (1) of the registration conditions:

1. Have a local hukou or residence permit in Shenzhen;

2. The work unit industrial and commercial registration is in Shenzhen;

3. The school where the fresh graduates graduated is a local school in Shenzhen.

(3) China citizens who meet the following conditions at the same time may apply to take the comprehensive stage examination of the national unified examination for certified public accountants:

1. has full capacity for civil conduct;

2. Obtain the professional stage examination certificate issued by the CPA Examination Committee of the Ministry of Finance (hereinafter referred to as the Examination Committee of the Ministry of Finance).

(4) Persons under any of the following circumstances may not register for the national unified examination for certified public accountants:

1. The certificate of certified public accountant has been revoked, and it has not been more than 5 years since the date of punishment decision to the date of application for registration;

2. Those who participated in the national unified examination for certified public accountants in the previous year were suspended due to violation of regulations, and the processing period was not full.

If you haven't graduated, you can't register in Shenzhen, at least you can't pass the qualification examination. The qualification examination shall be sealed by the unit.
