How to write your thoughts on the campus job fair?
It is wise to plan ahead. As a college student, opportunities always come to those who are prepared. Therefore, my classmates and I walked into the gymnasium early and participated in the campus internship job fair held at the school today. My original intention of participating in this job fair was not just to feel the tense atmosphere in every air at the recruitment site, nor just to observe the current demand for jobs. More importantly, give yourself a direction and positioning, and lay a solid foundation for finding your ideal job in the future. Facing a group of competitors like my junior year, although I didn’t have much hope of success in applying, the atmosphere of the job fair still deeply touched me, and I had my own thoughts and insights:
Chapter 1 First, I need to learn more knowledge more seriously. There is a recruitment position and requirements above each recruitment table. Through this participation, I know the popularity of the major I am studying, but when I see the requirements, I feel so far away from myself. As for my own computer major, many companies require computer and related majors, which shows that the threshold for this major is not high, so if you want to show your own advantages, you must work hard to learn professional courses and strengthen communication and language expression skills. In addition, although we have learned certain professional knowledge, we still need to find knowledge points related to our major in the market, so we still need to learn a lot.
Second, although we now have professional knowledge, it is all theoretical and lacks practical ability, so college students can only become masters on paper. Computer work has high requirements for practice. Even if you have not studied related courses, you can still do a good job as long as you have rich practice. This is why some companies in the past recruit people in computer and related majors, and practice is We can only rely on our own continuous accumulation at work. We should spend more time investing ourselves in practical operations, so that we can have a solid foundation before leaving school. In the final analysis, we college students should think more about our own reasons. If we don’t have opportunities, we must learn to create opportunities. What we lack is not only real time, but also initiative and consciousness.
Third, try to lower your value as much as possible before you have enough capital. At the scene, it is not difficult for us to see the phenomenon of "favoring one and favoring others". There are often people queuing up in front of many well-known companies, but compared to others, they are obviously a bit deserted. As I walked through the crowd of applicants, I realized that the most important problem was that when salary issues were discussed, general knowledge was often not achieved. Some college students overestimate themselves and do not have a clear understanding of themselves. In their eyes, low-level practice is like "anti-aircraft cannons to kill mosquitoes - overqualified and underused." For enterprises, the talents they need are high-quality talents who can put down their pretensions and work from the grassroots level and position themselves reasonably. Therefore, if college students attach too much importance to their so-called higher education, but cannot position themselves rationally, they will definitely suffer in employment. Then the so-called higher education is just equal to unemployment, which may not be what any college student wants to see.
I am glad that today I walked into such a recruitment site where I can sense the future. Some people say that the sophomore year is an embarrassing period when you are neither good nor bad, but I think it is a stage of struggle that is neither sooner nor later. We should start by learning basic skills well and not be afraid of hardship. Be broad-minded and appreciative, accumulate thickly but thinly. In the cruel social competition, being at the grassroots level does not mean that there is no future. Among the few female CEOs, Carly, the former CEO of Pratt & Whitney, also worked at the grassroots level for many years. Her rich experience is the most solid stepping stone to success. Life is like a song, with ups and downs, ups and downs, and no success can be achieved without experiencing humiliation and struggle. While we see an Apple changing the world, we also see Steve Jobs’ lifelong struggle and perseverance. Only after experiencing wind and rain can you see the rainbow. Only by experiencing heaviness can you gain relaxation. What we have to do is to give ourselves an immortal dream, and then bravely accumulate in the struggle.
Those who accumulate, know themselves, and are confident and persist to the end will laugh about life with humor and ease.
