The town is located in the northeast suburb of Danyang City, with convenient land, water and air transportation. Shanghai-Nanjing expressway, Provincial Highway 122, Jiang Yan Highway and Tonggang Highway pass through the town. Changzhou Airport is in the south (20 minutes' drive), and the Yangtze River Dagang is in the north. Modern post and telecommunications, sufficient power supply and good social security environment constitute the huge development advantages and potential of the town's economy. In 2007, it won the title of "Top Ten Towns in Zhenjiang's Economic Development".
