Emirates Airlines will recruit a large number of pilots in 2021. Boeing said in its latest forecast for 2021 that airlines in the United Arab Emirates and the Middle East will recruit approximately 196,000 new personnel in the next 20 years, including 54,000 pilots, 51,000 technicians and 91,000 cabin crew. By 2040, these airlines will need 3,000 new aircraft worth $700 billion. Emirates will recruit 3,000 cabin crew and 500 airport services employees in the coming months, while Etihad Airways will recruit 1,000 people with hotel service experience to join its cabin crew.
