Those who dream without taking action will never succeed. And action is the only way to achieve your ideals.

There is an American girl named Sylvia. Her father is a famous plastic surgeon in Boston, and her mother serves as a professor at a prestigious university. Her family has given her a lot of help and support, and she has every chance to realize her ideals. Ever since she was in middle school, she had always dreamed of being a TV host. She feels that she has this talent because whenever she gets along with others, even strangers are willing to get close to her and talk to her for a long time. She knows how to "get the inner feelings" out of people's mouths. Her friends called her their "close personal psychiatrist." She herself often said: "As long as someone is willing to give me a chance on television, I believe I will succeed."

But what has she done to achieve this ideal? In fact, there is nothing! She is waiting for a miracle, hoping to become the host of a TV show all of a sudden.

The reason why Cindy is successful is because she knows that "there is no free lunch" and all success must be achieved through her own efforts. She did not have reliable financial resources like Sylvia, so she did not wait in vain for the opportunity to arise. She worked during the day and took night classes at the university's stage arts department. After graduation, she started looking for work and visited every radio and television station in Los Angeles. However, the managers in each place gave her the same answer: "We will not hire anyone who has not had several years of experience."
