The museum has 54 employees, including several departments and offices, such as archaeology, museum preservation, exhibition, technology, publicity and security. Datong Museum has 4 senior titles, 8 intermediate titles/kloc-0, 5 junior titles and 22 in party member. The total number of people engaged in museum professional and academic research is 19, including master 1 person and junior college 18. Six people are engaged in cultural relics safety work and five people are engaged in publicity and explanation. Main functions: responsible for the collection and scientific management of cultural relics in Datong area, holding exhibitions, organizing publicity services, providing scientific research materials, establishing research topics, and giving full play to the museum's publicity and education functions, scientific research functions and social functions.
