The college, formerly known as Jinzhou Textile Technical School, was founded in 1965. 1980 was renamed Liaoning Textile Industry School; 199965438+February, with the approval of Liaoning Provincial Education Commission, the school was merged into Dalian Institute of Light Industry to hold higher vocational education; 20 12 approved by the people's government of Liaoning province, it was spun off from dalian polytechnic university (formerly Dalian Institute of Light Industry) and established Liaoning Vocational College of Light Industry.
