Being pretty has advantages when applying for jobs

Whether you are willing to admit it or not, appearance is really useful.

I have been doing human resources recruitment for more than ten years and have worked with many interviewers. Many of them have a focus on appearance. Applicants with good looks often get extra points, even if they have the same conditions. Among the candidates, appearance affects the final interview result. For example, I once worked in an accounting firm, and at that time we needed to recruit audit clerks. Before posting the position, our leader said it would be best to select some good-looking candidates for interviews, regardless of gender. I didn’t quite understand it at the time, so I asked my leader: Why do you have to be good-looking? The leader said: Put it on the customer side to represent the image of our company! Customer satisfaction is high! I think so. Later, when I was interviewing for this position, I reset the interview evaluation form and specifically added a column of "image points" to remind the interviewer to rate the applicant's image as part of the overall interview evaluation.
