In order to standardize the relevant training of foreign trade salesmen and further improve their quality and ability. According to the relevant provisions of the Administrative Licensing Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the guiding spirit of the 11th Five-Year Plan of the Ministry of Commerce, the China International Trade Association of the Ministry of Commerce has organized nationwide training, assessment and certification of foreign trade salesmen since 2006, aiming at enabling most foreign trade practitioners to obtain post qualification certificates through training, and gradually implementing the system of holding certificates nationwide, thus fundamentally promoting the healthy development of the whole international business field. In order to do this work well, the National Examination Center for Foreign Trade Salesmen has been set up, and the test center is located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang.
Professional knowledge requirements of foreign trade salesmen
In addition to mastering the basic knowledge of English and computer, foreign trade salesmen should also be familiar with and master the basic knowledge of commodities, foreign trade business knowledge, production management knowledge, international marketing knowledge, international financial knowledge, foreign trade laws and policies, international trade practices, international economic and trade geography, foreign trade business etiquette and other professional knowledge.
