Brief introduction of Beijing Institute of Food Science

Beijing Food Science Research Institute, with R&D Department, Testing Department and Environmental Engineering Department as its main operating organizations, and China Food Magazine, Training Department and Industry Department as its support, conducts basic and applied research on food science, product development, food testing, environmental engineering evaluation and training of food science and technology personnel at home and abroad. It is the first comprehensive food research institution integrating scientific research, testing, training, environmental protection, achievement transformation and periodical publishing in China. The Institute has a "Center for Environmental Impact Assessment of Construction Projects", which is a professional institution engaged in environmental protection research, engineering design and environmental impact assessment of construction projects.

The training department of the Institute undertakes the management of the meat science and technology training center in the Asia-Pacific region all the year round, accepts the directional training entrusted by enterprises, undertakes the international training tasks of a number of "South-South cooperation" projects every year, and transports a large number of technical talents for the food industry at home and abroad.

The Institute has successfully held 6 annual international conferences on food science, 9 national food conferences and 20 weekly exhibitions on meat processing technology and equipment, all of which are recognized by the food industry as a grand meeting for technical exchange.
