It’s better to be a civil servant. It’s easier and the pay is much better than working on the railway. You can get promoted as you get older and find connections. Unless you have someone in your family, you still have to work on the railway. Don't go, it doesn't mean much. Many of my relatives are also engaged in railway work. They get busier during holidays and don't have as much rest time as civil servants. This is just my personal suggestion. I hope you can consider it carefully, no matter what you choose to do.
