Basic information of Zhejiang Symphony Orchestra

On July 22nd, 2009, Zhejiang Symphony Orchestra held its inaugural meeting in Hangzhou Theatre, and held special concerts on July 22nd and 23rd.

After the independent establishment, Zhejiang Symphony Orchestra has a staff of 105 (including 90 performers), and the orchestra has been enhanced from a double-tube orchestra originally affiliated to Zhejiang Song and Dance Theatre to a three-tube orchestra. At present, the band's first batch of nearly 60 performers have been put in place. First, these performers were selected from the original Zhejiang Song and Dance Theatre Symphony Orchestra through strict professional assessment; The second is to select the best employees from non-staff employees. Some of them were the chief voices of the orchestra in the performance of "The First China Symphonic Spring" held at the National Grand Theatre in 2008, and won the grand prize at the 7th Zhejiang Music and Dance Festival in 2008. Third, applicants from all over the country have been selected through strict examination.
