How to achieve economic freedom before the age of 30

Financial freedom is definitely not limited to money. Even if you win 5 million yuan, if you don't have the ability to control the money reasonably, or if you don't have the ability to make money steadily, you are not financially free.

The following is not directly related to money, but how to create financial freedom and even the lifeblood of freedom.

The first and most important step is to stop comparing with others, which is meaningless.

Children from rich families and poor families may become billionaires, but the former may be based on rich resources from childhood, while the latter may be based on personal personality and opportunities.

. No two people will have exactly the same growing experience. This comparison does no good except make yourself jealous. The control group also needs to control the experimental conditions. But you need to compare yourself vertically. Vertical comparison has the following three advantages.

Know your strengths and weaknesses.

Control plan.

Relieve anxiety (when you compare vertically and find that you are more advanced than in the past, you will be more confident to start the next stage of work)

The second step is to set goals and find out what you really want.

What industry do you want to engage in? If you work hard in this industry all your life, will you? Will your personality and behavior affect your career development? If so, will you give up your present job or change yourself?

This goal also applies to personal life. Ask yourself what you really want. Do you really need to get married as soon as possible and live a stable life? Let's make a list of goals, which can be as big as becoming the richest man in the world, (as realistic as possible) or buying a car before the age of 30, and write it down in an electronic notebook. Write down the time of each goal and look at your goals from time to time.

The third step is to refine the goal until it is operational and achievable.

For example, if you set a goal of studying abroad, then you need to study English or other languages hard, so there are seemingly distant steps to study abroad. You know that in order to achieve your goal, you need to take IELTS and learn English every day. I call this step a plan. This plan has a time limit. You can't leave it there forever. You plan to go abroad in August next year, and you will get 7 points in April, so you need to improve your English from now until April next year, otherwise you won't get it. IELTS is divided into four parts, oral reading and composition listening, and each part has been broken and strengthened.

The same is true of other things. There are many things to do. Sort them out like wool balls, so that your anxiety will be relieved, because you know what to do next, rather than obsessing about what to do.

The fourth step, each small plan (or project) needs to be summarized, that is, vertical comparison.

The benefits have been mentioned above, and how to compare them specifically is to take IELTS as an example. When I finish reading a textbook, I find that my shortcoming is mainly listening, and I will strengthen my listening in the next stage.

The fifth step, well, a stage has passed, and check whether your plan has been completed on time (or compared vertically), whether you have improved, and how far away from your big goal.

Anxiety is gone, because you know every step you take, you know what you want, and you need 5 years or 10 years to achieve your big goal.
