Dry duck breeding method

1, breeding site. Duck farms must have sufficient water, and it is best to build them near ponds. There are either no chemical plants around the pond or serious industrial factories are polluted. Shade trees are needed around duck farms. The duck house has strong warmth retention, good ventilation conditions and good air in the duck house. The ground of duck farm can be disinfected with lime, and the duck house can be fumigated with drugs. During disinfection, the duck house is closed and the disinfection effect is not good. After the preparations are completed, wait for the ducks to be released.

2. You can buy all ducklings from large breeding bases or individual farmers, but if you want to choose chicks, you have to look at strong bodies, high running ability, gorgeous gross weight, complete recovery of umbilical cord and high foraging ability. This kind of chicken is most suitable for purchase. Once it is purchased, it must be transported to the farm.

3. Feed the ducklings. The temperature of duck house is controlled at 28 to 30 degrees, and grass and soft corn flour are mixed into the feed. After two weeks of breeding, the bought ducks can eat grass. Buy food four times a day on 1 week, three times a day, 1 time at night, and four times a day in the second week. According to the physical symptoms of ducks, 1 week temperature dropped from 24 degrees to 26 degrees. In the second week, the temperature can be reduced from 20 degrees to 23 degrees. After two weeks, the grazing time of ducks is 3 to 4 hours during the day and about 3 hours in the afternoon.

4. Domestication. In the third week of buying ducks, we should start simple domestication and grazing. At this stage, it is necessary to increase the domestication process of ducks, mainly whistling or shouting before feeding every day, so that ducks can come back to eat by themselves every time they hear whistling or shouting. The domestication process may last longer, but insist on feeding in the same way every day. When the ducks are 3 weeks old, they must be released to adapt to the environment around the farm as soon as possible.

Ducks have many natural enemies when they grow up: mice, wild cats, yellow wolves, snakes, dogs and many other animals can threaten ducks, so they are protected around the farm. The fattening time of commercial ducks is not very long, 20 to 25 days is enough.

6. When ducks grow to a certain stage, they should be raised in groups, that is, ducks and commercial ducks should be raised separately, and commercial ducks should be put in cages to reduce the activity space of ducks, strengthen the utilization of feed, and make commercial ducks gain weight quickly and speed up the time of slaughter. When laying eggs, ducks can add some feed to improve the laying rate.
