Health care industry and 57% of the companies surveyed in the life science industry said that they suffered a greater degree of job burnout, which mainly happened to salespeople, because they were under great pressure to cooperate with doctors and other professionals in medical institutions. About 43% of banks said that the company had a high degree of job burnout, and 39% of media, public relations and advertising companies said that employees generally had job burnout. In every industry surveyed, the rapidly increasing workload is regarded as the main reason for the increase of employee job burnout, accounting for 6 1%. Difficulties in recruitment are considered as another main reason for job burnout, and 33% companies mentioned this problem. Taking the banking industry as an example, 63% of banks believe that the increase in workload is the cause of employee fatigue, and 52% of banks say that recruitment is the main reason. In addition to the workload, the shortage of staff caused by the high turnover rate of employees is also a major problem in the consumer goods industry. The employment opportunities created by the opening of many retail stores encourage the emergence of high turnover rate. In the manufacturing industry, 28% of the respondents said that the main reason is that employees are unwilling to tell managers that they have been overworked, which far exceeds the situation in other industries. Respondents were also asked if they would take any measures to reduce and prevent fatigue. Generally speaking, increasing employees is considered as the single most important measure, and 49% companies choose this method as the main measure. Other measures are also important to solve the problem of employee burnout. 43% companies said that it is also very important to redefine job descriptions and job requirements, and another 30% companies emphasized providing employees with necessary skills. Among them, the banking industry thinks it is particularly important to encourage tired employees to reduce their workload and change their job requirements; The consumer industry believes that changing job requirements and shortening working hours are very effective; The manufacturing industry tries to curb the growing fatigue of employees by improving process efficiency.
