Brief introduction of Shadi Town

Shadi Town, located at the northern end of Ganxian County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is the north gate of Ganzhou, and is known as the "hometown of dried salted duck in China". It is 35 kilometers away from Ganzhou city and 43 kilometers away from the county seat, and the 105 national road runs through the territory for 25 kilometers. Jurisdiction over Shachang, Huxi, Zhongzhuang, Makou, Yincun, Shuibian, Aoxia, Gao Feng, Sandland, Yangcun, Shigu, Aoshang, Panyan, Wulong, Luotian, Liqun, Xishan, Xixi and Yangcun neighborhood committees. The territory is rich in mineral resources such as potash feldspar, rich in dried salted duck, high-quality rice and refined tea oil. Sand salted duck is famous at home and abroad, and is known as the "king of bacon". In 2004, the town's GDP reached 5674 yuan, an increase of 7.6% over the previous year. The fiscal revenue is 3.677 million yuan, and the per capita income of farmers is 2450 yuan. Yunfeng New District and Yunfeng Square, excellent demonstration areas for small town construction in the city, will be built, with an additional area of 0.5 square kilometers, initially forming a regional central market town of "two cities, three counties and eight townships".
