In March 2022, specialization and innovation were first written into the government work report. On September 8, 2022, it was learned at the 2022 National Specialized SME Development Conference held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province that by September 2022, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology had cultivated 8,997 specialized small giant enterprises, including 4,328 in the fourth batch in 2022. The total number of small giant enterprises has increased rapidly, leading industries have become more concentrated, and the advantages of specialization have become more prominent.
