Is Zotye closed down?

As of February, 20021year, Zotye did not go bankrupt.

Zotye Auto has eight production bases in China, including Yongkang, Daye, Chongqing, Jinhua, Hangzhou, Linyi, Changsha and Xiangyang, most of which are in a state of suspension.

On July 14, 2020, Zotye Automobile mentioned in its reply to the inquiry letter of Zhejiang Securities Regulatory Bureau that in the first half of 2020, the company's eight production bases only produced 574 vehicles.

In the holiday notice, Zotye also emphasized that after the holiday, all employees on the job will be transferred to Xiangtan Tongrui Company, and employees who cannot go to work as required by the company will be treated as absenteeism.

Absenteeism for more than three days shall be treated as automatic resignation and the employment contract shall be automatically terminated. In addition, any consequences caused by employees' accidents during the suspension of production and holiday shall be borne by employees themselves.
