Planning and Layout of New Town in Luchang Chemical Industrial Zone

According to the special requirement that the leading industry in our region is chemical industry and the overall spatial layout of Nanjing city, the new urban construction land layout planning forms a compact spatial structure with two cores, three axes and three groups.

Dachang is an industrial town with heavy chemical industry as the main body and production and living functions as the main function; Luchang-Dai Yu Group is the city's chemical production base; With the construction of the fourth bridge, Longpao will become a strategic space for the development of Binjiang New Town, which mainly serves the port industry and eco-tourism. Liuhe Modern New City is a space carrier to accept the function diffusion of Nanjing's main city and add new functions to the city. The new city is a comprehensive service center in the whole region, which has the function of relieving some main urban areas. As the gateway of Jiangbei in Nanjing, it serves the heavy chemical industry base, regional transportation hub and regional logistics center in northern Jiangsu, and is one of the main carriers of Nanjing's overall cross-river development, industrial transfer and urban space expansion. Therefore, from the perspective of inheriting the development function of Nanjing, building a modern new city in Jiangbei is of great strategic significance to the whole region.
