Fujian Medical University, founded in 1937 and formerly known as Fujian Provincial Medical College, is one of the earliest medical colleges in China. The school is a "double-first-class" construction university in Fujian Province, which focuses on medicine and develops in a multi-disciplinary way. It is also a health talent training center, a medical science research center and a medical and health service center in Fujian Province.

The school has two campuses, Shang Jie and Taijiang, with a planned area of about 1500 mu. There are 265,438+0 colleges (departments) and 27 undergraduate majors, including 4 national specialties.
