Langfang Thermal Power Corporation was established in June, 1985, and is affiliated to the Municipal Construction Bureau. The company is an enterprise management, wholly state-owned, self-supporting and self-financing institution. Central heating belongs to urban municipal infrastructure industry. The company is mainly engaged in steam heating, with 389 employees (including 270 full-time employees and 8 retired employees, recruitment11person).

According to the different end users, the demand of the thermal industry mainly comes from industrial heat and residential heating.

The industrial heat demand mainly comes from chemical industry, pharmacy, food, electroplating, textile, tobacco, paper making, feed, medical treatment and other fields, and is mainly used for heating, drying, cooking, cleaning, melting, refrigeration, steam hammer, steam pump and other operations in the production process. At present, except for some large industrial enterprises which are supplied with heat by their own thermal power plants, most industrial enterprises are supplied with heat by regional boilers.
