1. The school was formerly Hebei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and was established in 1956. 1958 was named Hebei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and 1962 merged with Tianjin College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. This school is called Tianjin College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and belongs to Hebei Province. 1969 Tianjin College of Traditional Chinese Medicine moved to Shijiazhuang and merged with Hebei Medical College.

2. 1995 merged with Hebei Medical College and Shijiazhuang Medical College to form Hebei Medical University. 20 13 Hebei college of traditional Chinese medicine was resumed. On June 6, 2023, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it was renamed Hebei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
