2. Entry and exit instructions for Singapore

1. Entry

Almost all planes arriving and leaving Singapore use singapore changi airport. Shopping centers, restaurants, medical care, restaurants, saunas and other facilities in the airport are all available. It takes about 6.5 hours for Beijing to fly directly to Singapore. When the plane descends and can see the oil tanker in Singapore harbor, it is about to land at the airport. The plane landed on the second floor of the lobby of Changi International Airport. From here, take the escalator to the entry checkpoint on the first floor. Singapore used to refuse entry to people with long hair and beards, but now it is basically no problem as long as it is not too much. When entering the country, you should show your passport, visa and the entry/exit card filled out on the plane to the immigration office. After the Immigration Bureau stamps the passport with the seal of "14 days allowed to stay" and returns the exit card of the entry/exit card to the passenger, the entry formalities will be completed. Occasionally, the immigration bureau will ask passengers to show their exit tickets and ask questions about the purpose of entry and the duration of stay.

after the entry inspection, you will come to the duty-free shop. Usually, duty-free shops are only suitable for those who leave the country, but Singapore is a free port, and immigrants can also buy duty-free goods. Behind the duty-free shop is the baggage claim area. There are several baggage conveyor belts in the central hall, and baggage is picked up at the corresponding conveyor belts. After you claim your luggage, you can go through the customs. After completing the customs formalities, we arrived at the arrival hall, which means we arrived in Singapore. The center of the arrival hall is the information center, with hotel consultation and car rental desks on both sides.

2. Exit

The departure hall of Changi International Airport is located on the second floor, and the check-in procedure is here. Different airlines are at different counters. Usually check in two hours before the plane takes off. The airport fee at Changi Airport is S $15, which is usually included in the air ticket. When checking in, passengers can put forward their seats they want to take. After the checked baggage is delivered and the boarding pass is obtained, the boarding procedure is completed.

after that, it is an exit inspection. Show your passport and exit card at the exit checkpoint, and the immigration department will complete it with the exit stamp. After the exit inspection, passengers wait for boarding in the waiting room of the flight they want to take. There are shops such as duty-free shops, gift shops and bookstores in the departure hall. Boarding usually starts 3 minutes before the plane takes off.

IV. Singapore Medical Insurance

Singapore's "health savings" began in 1977, and it is a system for all citizens to pay according to their age. Under the age of 35, I will pay 6% of my salary, 7% at the age of 36-44, and 8% at the age of 45, which will be borne by the employer and the employee equally. The savings account can only pay for hospitalization expenses and a few expensive outpatient expenses, and can be used by three generations of a family (parents, children, husband and wife). The hospitalization expenses are borne by state subsidies, individual medical accounts and individuals, rather than being paid in full by individual accounts. Although the insurance savings account is owned by individuals, it has a strict withdrawal limit, and the excess part is taken care of by individuals. If you live in a senior ward, the personal out-of-pocket amount will increase accordingly. The "dual health insurance" implemented in Singapore in 199 is actually part of the "health savings", and the serious illness insurance premium can be paid from the "health savings" account. So far, Singapore has formed its own unique medical insurance model which combines individual vertical accumulation with horizontal overall planning. Singapore's medical insurance system with "health savings" as the core has worked well. In recent years, the amount withdrawn to pay for hospitalization expenses only accounts for 2% of the "health savings" fund and 7% of the total national health expenditure, but the unused funds accumulated in the savings account are equivalent to the total national health expenditure in Singapore for four years. It can be seen that Singapore's "health savings" is a system with strict design, scientific operation and cost saving.

Before p>1974, Singapore's medical security system was based on Britain's experience. After experiencing the rapid increase of health expenditure in 197s, the government realized that it was necessary to reform the welfare medical care system. Singapore adjusted the guiding ideology of national medical care in time, from the past, which was contracted by the state, to the emphasis on personal responsibility, and the government shared part of the costs to ensure basic medical services. Singapore has always adhered to this correct guiding ideology in practice, and the outpatient expenses are paid by individuals on the basis of state subsidies, which reflects the basis of personal responsibility. Later, the compulsory savings mechanism in the central provident fund system, which was implemented and succeeded in 1955, was transplanted and a medical care savings account was established to help citizens raise hospitalization expenses. Among the total health expenditure in Singapore, the proportion paid by individuals accounts for more than 6%. On the one hand, it shows that increasingly affluent citizens are willing to pay for health consumption, on the other hand, it also shows that the guiding ideology based on personal responsibility emphasized by the government has been accepted by the people.

Singapore believes that "accumulation" is the essence of "health savings". "Health savings" is to accumulate funds for hospitalization, for the future, for the elderly and for the risk of disease. Therefore, when designing the medical insurance project, it has been considered that it is mainly aimed at high-risk events. Singapore's "personal medical account" is learned from the old-age savings, so people are required to save medical expenses for the future aging society. Restraining waste is the result of the normal function of this system and the indirect function of saving.

In Singapore, many people thought that medical savings would be retained by the government if they didn't spend just frozen property. There are still some people who don't understand the payment limit of medical savings, resulting in the illusion that it is more cost-effective to use savings for medical treatment than to pay for it at their own expense, which leads many people to be induced to consume luxurious medical services. In fact, this is an act of "paying for it". If there is no "health savings account", they will not make high consumption. Singapore has realized in practice that this availability has stimulated more medical consumption, such as upgrading a large number of standard wards to high-end wards. To this end, they gradually improved the management measures for health care savings accounts.

V. Public security situation in Singapore

The latest survey shows that Singapore is the least affected by criminal gangs, with high police efficiency and few corruption cases, so it is the safest place to do business in the world. The survey was conducted by the Geneva-based World Economic Forum (WEF) at the end of 22, * * * involving 59 countries, including the United States, Britain, Japan, Canada, and many countries in South America, Europe and Asia. The business people from all over the world agreed that Singapore has a safe business environment, and there are almost no criminal and corruption cases, because Singapore has strict internal security laws and regulations. According to Singapore's internal security laws and criminal laws, the Singapore police have the right to detain political prisoners and vigilantes who endanger national security and social stability, effectively deterring the occurrence of crimes.

VI. Singapore's immigration policy

Singapore has been pursuing a free economic system for a long time, recruiting talents, welcoming entrepreneurs and professionals from all over the world to settle in Singapore, and the conditions for accepting new immigrants are getting wider and wider. Similarly, because Singapore is a bilingual country, Chinese account for the vast majority of its population, and China is geographically closer than Europe and the United States, more and more China people regard Singapore as an ideal for immigrants.
