How to stay calm when looking for a job?

In fact, many friends have talked to me about some work matters before, and the most talked about is "Is it better to be a customer service or an operation? What is the future of being a customer service? Is it better to be an operation?" It won’t be too difficult”?

Actually, I hope everyone will think about what work is for?

In addition to the financial rewards of work, what else is worth valuing?

Do you mean to have enough food and clothing? Is it to prevent yourself from starving to death? I believe that in today's society, even if you don't work, you won't starve to death, and you won't be so impoverished that you go to the streets to beg for food.

In addition to making money and ensuring the quality of life, work also provides space for self-improvement, growth, learning, and finding your true value.

I believe everyone understands the truth, but if you haven’t fallen down before, you won’t agree.

Calm down

What do you value more when looking for a job? How much money? Few things? Close to home?

The psychological positioning of what kind of work you want must be accurate. Don’t think that having more money, less things, and being close to home is a joke. If you have the conditions and the ability, follow the goals you want. Just go find it, don't listen to other people's opinions, because others don't understand you at all.

Don’t doubt yourself and lower your standards for finding a job just because you feel frustrated after a few interviews.

Others can doubt you because they don’t understand you at all. You can’t doubt yourself. If you doubt yourself, then what others say is right.

When looking for a job, stick to your own goals. How much salary do I want, where do I want to be, what kind of improvement and help do I want this company to bring me, and what can it bring to me? What benefits...

Since you dare to think so, then you must have something special that can bring benefits to the company

Since you dare to think so, then you don’t want to If you doubt your ability, just follow your ideas. Don’t doubt yourself because of one or two failures. If so, then please read my article again.

The friend who communicated with me actually had no shortage of experienced and capable people. Why did she find it so difficult to find a job? I would say that things were going so smoothly before. I have never been to an interview or properly looked for a job. I have been working in a company for several years. After leaving my job, I went out to look for a job. I suddenly doubted myself.

I am capable, so I will inevitably have requirements for the next job, such as salary, environment, convenience, benefits, learning, and promotion. However, after a series of interviews, I will always be a little dissatisfied. In what way is it inferior to the previous employer?

Actually, my opinion is that it doesn’t matter. If you have a good job, don’t be afraid of being late. If you look for it slowly, you will eventually be able to find a job that you are satisfied with. At least you won’t think of this job as a “make do” in your heart. , a makeshift job will only make you want to escape from this position constantly. You cannot take the initiative to learn and improve at work, because this is not the job you want. Find a makeshift job. Working will only waste your time. The meaning of work is not just to make money, but to get a new job. It can help you broaden your horizons and bring you deeper experience, which will have a great influence on your future career and future work. A greater breakthrough in work ability is the meaning of work. If it is a makeshift job, you will not feel this. You can only feel endless pressure and the desire to escape all the time... ..

Of course, what I said may be a bit exaggerated, but the fact is that you can't face something you don't like, and it's hard to get success in something you don't like. Innovation, it is difficult for you to take the initiative to complete something after get off work. If you lose your love for work, what else can you keep?

Be able to reflect

Don’t settle for just one job, look for it slowly.

In fact, when looking for a job, the most uncomfortable things are those who are capable but have not made great achievements, and those who have ambitions but cannot achieve results.

I don’t like the work I do next, and others don’t like the work I do above...

I just worked as customer service for half a year and then became the customer service team leader. I resigned as the customer service team leader after working for more than half a year. At that time, I wanted to find a job as a customer service supervisor. I was always complacent and thought that my ability was enough for the job. But the reality is as mentioned above. I have ambitions, but I can't achieve results.

I interviewed with many companies and looked for many jobs but could not find the right one. Even when I went to print out my resume, I was embarrassed to keep going to the same store and type 20 copies at a time, once every three days. The preview records of major recruitment websites all showed 999. It was really not easy to find a job at that time. The weather was so hot that I almost lost my temper several times. I thought that I should forget it and find a job as a team leader. It would also be good. Let's not choose. It's too tiring... But I don't want to be the person who "makes do with it". I have been looking for it for so long. If I "make do with it" again, I will be sorry for my previous hard work.

There were two interviews that left a deep impression on me. One was for someone in the jewelry industry. It happened that the person interviewing me was from the same hometown. He also talked to me a lot. In brief, the meaning is: It took him 8 years to go from customer service to operations and finally to the director of operations, while it took me less than a year and a half to go from working to finding a customer service supervisor position, which means I need Don't be impatient. Let me review it carefully. If I think it's really suitable, I can go to work there. In fact, I never doubted myself from beginning to end. In the end, I didn't go to him because I believed I could do it on my own. Strength is recognized and you find a job that suits you rather than the friendship of fellow countrymen.

For the second interview, I took the initiative to promote myself and came to the door for the interview. Because the interview cycle on the platform was too long, and some had to wait for several days. When I was sitting around with nothing to do, I felt It was so decadent. When I saw that I was satisfied with all the conditions and met the job requirements, I brought my resume according to the address on the platform and took the initiative to come to the interview. When I took the subway and then the bus to the interview company, I hadn't even gone to work yet. After half an hour, people started to work one after another. I took my resume to the front desk and said, "I'm here to interview the customer service supervisor." The front desk glanced at my resume and returned it to me directly and said: " Our customer service staff here are better than you, and you can’t control them.” In the end, I could only leave in silence.

What I mean by these two examples is that others can deny it, and the process may be difficult, but you have to encounter these. How can you grow if you don't encounter them.

It is a good thing that a person has never fallen when he is 80 years old. It is also a good thing that he can stand up independently until he is 80 years old. Everything has two sides. It depends on how you adjust your mentality.

Stand straight

Summary: Work is just a process, not the ultimate goal in life. Even if this company has good benefits and high wages, you can’t be here. Work until retirement.

The salary of the job is only to ensure the basic quality of life. What is more important is the growth and improvement this job can bring to you. What new knowledge can you learn in this job? What new horizons can you broaden, can you find the value of your own existence in this job, and if you end up in this job, can it bring you higher returns and more confidence in your next job.
