In May 2009, the "two evaluations" report of Jiangxi Nuclear Power Project 1 and Unit 2 (site selection stage) was officially approved by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the National Nuclear Safety Administration, and now the work of "four links and one leveling" is being carried out. The total investment of the project is estimated to be 70 billion yuan, and the first unit is planned to be connected to the grid for power generation in 20 15.
