What is the interview process like for AI interviews?

Common process:

AI interview uses a camera to analyze the applicant's facial movements, wording, expression ability and speaking voice to score the applicant's interview.

AI has multiple characteristics that can be used to identify the best performers during interviews. It will not give feedback whether the interviewer's behavior is good or bad in its eyes. All you have to do is sit in front of the camera and answer preset questions. The whole process will take about 30 minutes.

The AI ??interview system combines speech recognition software and facial recognition software. During the interview process, the expressions and movements of the job seeker will be collected, and the recorded voice details, such as word usage and intonation, will be analyzed.

Then, the AI ??system will generate a scoring report, comprehensively considering the job seeker’s “personal stability”, “willingness to learn”, “problem-solving ability” and other indicators.

Based on the job requirements, the AI ??interviewer will eventually divide the job seekers into three levels: high, medium and low. HR will refer to the results of the AI ??interview for subsequent screening.

VI stands for video interview, which has become the norm in the recruitment process.

VI is usually in the first few steps of the interview process. The original intention of adopting VI was to filter out a large number of candidates through structured interviews and asking the same standard questions. The interviewer can call up your VI again and look at it, instead of just relying on the interview notes, which is more objective.

The question type and duration of the VI may vary, but it mainly revolves around behavioral interview questions. You cannot talk to the interviewer 1v1 and can only read the questions and record the answers through the video system.

AI interview is a type of VI interview. This type of interview is generally called Digital Interview or Pre-recorded Video Interview. Applicants need to follow the interview questions displayed on the screen and record their answers within the specified time. The submitted answers will be used as one of the materials for the first round of review by the recruiter, and combined with your resume, they will decide whether to invite you for a follow-up interview.
