The predecessor of Wenhua College - "Wenhua College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology" is an ordinary full-time university approved by the Ministry of Education in May 2003. It was jointly established by Wuhan Midland Real Estate Co., Ltd. and Huazhong University of Science and Technology*** Held together. In May 2014, the Ministry of Education approved the school's transformation into an independent private general undergraduate school and changed its name to "Wenhua College".
