Yes Beihai New Area is the strategic focus of Shandong's "one body and two wings", one of the "four-point-four areas" of the Yellow Triangle high-efficiency ecological economic zone, an important part of the Shandong Peninsula blue economic zone, the core area of Binzhou's blue economic development, and a coastal national economic development zone. Weihai, alias ahava, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Shandong Province, located in the east of China and at the eastern end of Shandong Peninsula.
