Personally, I think the urban development of Nanning should not be expanded. It is most suitable to develop satellite cities around Nanning. Now Wuming is also the most qualified, the distance is not far, and the traffic is very developed. There are urban trunk roads, expressway and secondary roads directly to Wuming County, and the traffic between the two cities has been completely docked. As long as the government issues a policy to divert some organs, factories and residents from the autonomous region and Nanning to the county town and its surrounding areas for compensation, and to cultivate Wuming into a medium-sized city with a population of 500,000 to 800,000, the future direction of Liu Jing and the airport will also follow Wuming's development model, divert the population and traffic in the urban area, control the urban area of Nanning at about 2 million people, and leave more room for the development of subordinate counties. The headquarters will always be located in Nanning. This can not only solve a series of social and traffic problems in Nanning, but also solve the problems of high housing prices and the contradiction between supply and demand of land and population, effectively promote the scientific development of urban-rural integration and lay a solid foundation for the future development of Nanning metropolitan area. Some people worry that the overall explosive power of Nanning will be weakened. In fact, developing the main urban area of Nanning into a city with a population of more than 2 million, and developing the surrounding 30 kilometers into three or four medium-sized urban areas with a population of 500,000 to 800,000 will not reduce the overall strength of Nanning at all, because the command is still in Nanning's hands. On the contrary, it will increase the development space of Nanning, optimize the development environment of the city, develop more scientifically and harmoniously, and greatly refine the functions of each urban area. Expanding urban areas is only a traditional development model, which can only achieve partial and short-sighted results.
