Where is Xiaoxian County?

Xiaoxian County is in Suzhou City, Anhui Province.

Xiaoxian County, alias Longcheng, is the capital of ancient Xiao State. Located in the northernmost part of Anhui Province, it is adjacent to Xuzhou in the east, Huaibei in the south, Fengxian in the north, Suzhou in the southeast, Yongcheng and Dangshan in the west and Heze in Shandong in the east. Located in the center of Huaihai Economic Zone and Xuzhou Metropolitan Area, the northern wing of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration. It is a fast-rising modern medium-sized industrial, commercial and tourist city at the junction of Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan and Anhui provinces, and is known as the Pearl of Huaihai.

Known as the country of literature in ancient times, it has a history of civilization of more than 6000 years and a history of building a city of more than 3 100 years. Located at the intersection of Central Plains culture and Dongyi culture, it is the birthplace of Han culture, filial piety culture, winery culture and ceramic culture, and the hometown of Southern Dynasties and Song Wudi.
