How to live a decent life by learning a foreign language?

There are many people who have lived a decent life after learning a foreign language well.

Give me two examples from around me.

When I was in college, I studied Japanese for a while. My Japanese teacher changed my destiny by relying on Japanese.

When she was in China, she worked in a factory, and her education was not very high. Later, she left the factory and went to work in Japan. After arriving in Japan, she signed up for a local Japanese language class while working to solve her language problem.

Then she applied for a Japanese university and improved her academic qualifications. All her study and living expenses were earned by herself. Because when studying in Japan, you can earn money by working part-time to pay for tuition and living expenses. Japan's hourly wages are among the highest in the world.

The female workers who went abroad to work with her could barely communicate with others in Japanese and earned a lot of money to return home. Only when she returned to China, not only did she learn fluent Japanese, but she also had an academic diploma and made a lot of money.

The important thing is that after returning to China, she successfully became a Japanese teacher and translator. She has learned Japanese very well. Because she has studied and lived in Japan, she is very familiar with the situation in Japan, so her Japanese classes have always been very popular.

In addition to being a Japanese teacher, she also works as a Japanese translator, accompanying Chinese female workers to live in Japan, or engaging in other translation work, and her income is very considerable. Later, she chose to settle in Shanghai and lived quite well with her excellent Japanese skills.

Another friend graduated from a technical secondary school and found an ordinary job. Although the job paid well, it was not something he liked. Because he was very interested in English, he continued to learn English after work. Through his own efforts, he attended some cram schools and also took the self-study exam in English.

In a few years, he has learned English very well. Many full-time English undergraduate students are not as good as him.

Later, when New Oriental School was recruiting teachers, he applied. Because his speaking and listening skills were excellent, he was still hired by New Oriental even though he did not have as good a diploma as others.

After working as a training teacher for several years, he simply opened an English training school of his own. It was very successful and he was considered successful in his career.

So no matter which language you choose to learn, whether English or Japanese, the key point is that you must learn this foreign language well so that you can find a good job or even start a business. Build a career and live a decent life.
