What is the temperature of an electrostatic spark?

Electric spark is a breakdown discharge between electrodes. Generally, the temperature of electric spark is very high, and the temperature can reach 3000~6000℃.

The voltage of static electricity exceeds 4000 volts in an instant, and the temperature is heated to 6/7000C° in tens to hundreds of milliseconds. People will feel a sense of heat, irritability, and headache.

The cause of static sparks is the breakdown of high voltage into the air and ionization. Sparks are the paths through which electric charges flow.

Static electricity is a common charging phenomenon. Under certain conditions, many moving objects will become charged with static electricity when they are separated from other objects (such as friction). Solids, liquids and gases are often charged with static electricity. For example, in dry seasons, the human body is easily charged with high static electricity and suffers electrostatic shock. Its voltage is as high as several thousand volts or even tens of thousands volts (the current is small). Static discharge will produce sparks.
