The Japanese often say that relaxation is the purpose of human life-the purpose of life is sacrifice-and the form of sacrifice is carnival. Therefore, sacrifice actually expresses the true side of people's hearts and is the ultimate expression of life: "Life is carnival." Especially when the unknown death is approaching at any time, carnival embodies its madness and authenticity.

The annual Tenjin Matsuri kicked off in Tianman Palace, including magic in front of the temple, urging Taigu, lion dancing, crossing the sea, boating, night sky fireworks and other activities. During this period, people are constantly flowing. Especially in the north bank of Dachuan, all kinds of food stalls are as lively as our temple fair.

Tianman Palace is the beginning of sacrifice and the center vortex of excitement. When the capital was established in Nanbojin (Osaka) in 650, the original Tianman Palace was only used as a palace to bless the northwest corner of Osaka City. The Tianman Palace we see now was built in 949 to worship Sugawara no michizane (845 ~ 903), the god of knowledge. I am also lucky to be able to play near Tianman Palace for two days and get close to this god through such a festival.

The original way of God Kan, who is full of palaces, is a real person in history. He is a scholar who studies China literature in Heian period (equivalent to Tang Dynasty in China). At that time, it was not surprising that big noble was a big official, but it was unusual to be a big official as a scholar. Sugawara no michizane was the right prime minister (the second prime minister) and a scholar-bureaucrat in the imperial court at the most glorious time.
