The Jingtang Intercity Railway was officially completed and opened to traffic on September 30, 2022. Jingtang Intercity Railway is an intercity railway connecting Beijing and Tangshan, Hebei Province. It is the backbone of the intercity rail transit network in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. Beijing-Tangshan Intercity Railway starts from Beijing Sub-central Station in the west and ends at Tangshan Station in the east. At the beginning of the project, it started from Beijing Railway Station, with a total length of about 149km * * and 8 stations, with a designed top speed of 350 km/h.

Line description

The maximum design speed of Jingtang intercity high-speed railway is 350km/h, 200km/h from Beijing Station to Yanjiao Station, 250km/h from Yanjiao Station to Dachang Station, 300km/h from Dachang Station to Xianghe Station and 350km/h from Xianghe Station to Tangshan Station.

It is reported that the Jingtang Intercity Railway has eight stations, namely Beijing City Sub-center Station, Yanjiao Station, Dachang Station, Xianghe Station, Baodi South Station, Yutian South Station, Tangshan West Station and Tangshan West Station, among which six stations are newly built (Beijing City Sub-center Station, Dachang Station, Xianghe Station, Baodi South Station, Yutian South Station and Tangshan West Station).
