The work mainly includes: (1) commanding the crane or operating charging equipment to load scrap steel and other raw materials into the furnace; (2) operating the power distribution equipment in front of the furnace to supply power to the electric furnace; (3) operating the arc , induction, vacuum, non-vacuum, electroslag furnace and other smelting furnaces to control the smelting process; (4) operate electrode lifting devices, etc., use electric energy to melt raw materials and smelt molten steel; (5) operate oxygen lances, regulate oxygen, cooling water pressure, Flow rate; (6) Sampling, adding alloy materials and auxiliary raw materials; (7) Taking out slag, measuring temperature, sampling, operating manual equipment, and pouring molten steel into the steel drum; (8) Adding protective slag and deoxidizer to the steel drum ; (9) Clean up residual steel and residue; (10) Operate equipment such as powder spraying, argon blowing and vacuum treatment to treat molten steel; (11) Handle faults and maintain equipment.
