Yunnan Baiyao Group Co., Ltd. is a large industrial and commercial pharmaceutical enterprise in Yunnan and one of the top 50 Chinese patent medicines in China. 1997 was recognized as one of the first 40 large enterprise groups in Yunnan province. 1997 was approved by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, and obtained the import and export right of the enterprise. 1999 was recognized as a high-tech enterprise by Yunnan Science and Technology Commission. 1999 was approved by the Ministry of Personnel to establish Post-Doctoral Research Center. In 2002, it was listed as one of the 10 key pharmaceutical enterprises supported by Yunnan provincial government. In 2003, Dali Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Lijiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Tianzihong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., holding subsidiaries of Yunnan Baiyao Group, successively passed the national GMP certification, while Yunnan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Yunnan Baiyao Pharmacy Co., Ltd. and Yunnan Baiyao Group Pharmaceutical E-commerce Co., Ltd. passed the GSP certification. In July 2004, the company's mixture and oral liquid dosage forms passed the national GMP certification, and in September 2004, the company's Wenshan Sanqi planting base passed the national GAP certification. In September 2005, the company's syrup, ointment and liniment passed the national GMP certification. In 2006, Tian Zihong Pieces Workshop passed GMP certification.
